Emily is a Washington native - she grew up on Bainbridge Island. She is a 2008 Olympic silver medalist for swimming and has been teaching yoga and swimming full/part time for the past 4 years. She started practicing yoga in 2004 to supplement her swimming, and in 2014 completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training program with Naada Yoga in Montreal, Canada. Emily's style of teaching incorporates Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative styles. Pranayama is also a large part of her teachings.
